Ohmega Watts makes it happen...

Recently, Ohmega and I (Vince) connected in between his holiday travels coast to coast. We bumped fists during his short visit to the LA area.

This humble brother is crazy busy with projects that stimulate and inspire. Mr. Watts is filling his calendar these days with creativity in many forms. We all know that he's an international musician, MC and DJ that's asked to juggle beats and rhythms from here to Japan...but along with that he's producing new music with other artists, sharing his music in film and commericals, taking photographs for an upcoming project, doing graphic design for various clients and finding the time to just have a cup of coffee with his friends. (or nachos in SD...thanks, man!)

I took 5 minutes to snap these stills in a grimy alley in West Hollywood. He's hyped on his Kreeds!

Enjoy his sites:

If you're in San Diego on January 10th...support REVO!

YOU ARE INVITED TO REVO SD ART SHOW: A NIGHT FOR STREET ANGELS ON JANUARY 10TH AT THE BONDI RESTAURANT AND BAR IN DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO. COME AND CELEBRATE LOCAL ARTISTS AS WE HELP STREET ANGELS TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE IMPOVERISHED YOUTH LIVING ON THE STREETS OF SAN DIEGO!

A movement:

An etymology on "revolution:" (Latin) re- back + volvere roll, orbit. To revolve is to complete a cycle of, to become. It involves a change. REVO is simply our way of saying: we'd like to change the world through rolling, orbiting, spinning, cycling, becoming: loving.

Based on the concept of LOVE, to live the REVO everyday is to think beyond ourselves and redefine our modern conception of necessity. It is taking a homeless man out to dinner. It is smiling your best smile at a young pregnant mother, scared of her growing stomach, a child herself. It is seeing beauty in the disfigured, seeing wholeness in the lame, seeing a dance in the invalid.

REVO is a movement we can all grab on to. It connects you to a young orphan, and a young orphan to you. It connects you to hurricane Katrina, to the rain-and-storm in California, to the students at Virginia Tech, the War in Uganda, sex slaves in Thailand, to Turkey, to the ends of the earth. REVO gives every person the opportunity to help make the world just a little bit better, a little more livable, a little less fearful for those who haven't eaten in days, or slept in a bed, with pillows and sheets.

The people:

We tell the story of orphans, of women whose stomachs swell from rape and young children dying of AIDS. There are social injustices and sad stories tucked away in all of the world, stories of illness and poverty, hunger and abandonment, fear of every waking moment, fear of tomorrow. So many of us can? And want to?! Proffer help to those who need help, yet most of us don't know what to do or where to begin.

There are many notable organizations dedicated in doing great things? They are digging wells in tribal villages and setting up health clinics. REVO wants to help these organizations and ensure that they have the funds they need to execute these dreams. With the donations we gather, we can contribute to what these organizations are already doing. We are not limited by geography; we are not interested only in Africa. We want to help wherever there is helped needed.

An invitation:

There are REVO branches in Hilo, Honolulu, in California, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Nevada, Tennessee, New York, and Pennsylvania, hosting art shows and raising awareness of both global and domestic issues. It is wonderful that people from all over the country are joining the REVO dream of changing the world, wonderful and powerful.

If you'd like to start a REVO in your city, or help out with an existing REVO, please contact us by visiting www.startarevo.org and/or www.revosandiego.com
We welcome your participation. START A REVO!
